What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems and APIs using Java.
• Develop tools for the Responsible Gaming team to satisfy regulatory requirements across the US and Canada.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality code.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and mentor other software engineers.
• Manage the full SDLC, including rollout, monitoring, and on-call support rotation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience building scalable backend systems and APIs with Java or similar OOP languages.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in testing concepts and integrating them into the SDLC.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
