What you will do

  • Contribute to the full development lifecycle of the OddsMatrix Sportsbook platform.
  • Design and implement scalable core services capable of handling millions of requests per day.
  • Develop technical specifications and expand loosely defined requirements into complete technical solutions.
  • Maintain high code quality through rigorous documentation, testing, and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other departments to optimize the end-user experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Professional experience with Java 12 or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD), distributed architectures, and microservices.
  • Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching solutions.
  • Proficiency with NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • iGaming domain knowledge.
  • Experience with Virtual Threads, Java RX, and Spring Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, and GitLab.
