What you will do

• Develop new features within the existing product.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Product and Architect teams.
• Investigate and drive bug fixes on complex cross-service issues.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, technical discussions, mentoring, pair programming, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 5+ years building backend systems
• 4+ years hands-on with Scala
• Experience with RESTful APIs / WebSockets
• Proficient in Scala ecosystem (Akka, Play Framework, SBT)
• Distributed messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Microservices architecture
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Software design patterns, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms
• Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Cloud services (AWS, GCP), CI/CD
• Observability (logging, metrics, tracing: OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Grafana)
• Strong English communication (B2+)
• Lead technical discussions in multicultural environment, ownership mindset
