What you will do

• Lead the growth and profitability of the Upstream and Carbon Management (UCM) consulting practice in the EMEA region.
• Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key clients to source new consulting business.
• Direct high-profile client mandates, ensuring high-quality, insightful results.
• Mentor and develop the consulting staff, improving the team's understanding of client challenges.
• Coordinate with research and sales teams to align the consulting practice with market needs.
• Manage the project pipeline, resource allocation, and operational processes for consulting assignments.

Requirements

• Top-tier university degree (Master’s/PhD) and/or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA Charter holder, or Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
• Significant previous experience in a senior management consulting / strategy consulting role or a senior strategic planning role within an energy company.
• Deep understanding of the EMEA energy industry, operations, business models, and regulatory environment.
• Strong expertise in economic modelling and valuation, including M&A due diligence and upstream valuations.
• Track record of executing consulting engagements and driving business development.

Nice to have

• Experience working in jurisdictions outside of the EMEA region.
• Experience supporting fiscal advisory work for governments and national oil companies.
