What you will do

• Define the user experience by creating user journeys, interaction patterns, task-flows, wireframes, and visual designs.
• Translate qualitative customer feedback into actionable design hypotheses and workflow improvements.
• Use AI-powered prototyping tools like Claude, Replit, and Figma Make to rapidly generate interactive prototypes.
• Convert AI-assisted prototypes into high-fidelity, developer-ready designs in Figma.
• Partner with Product Management and UX Research to identify and resolve friction in mortgage lender workflows.
• Maintain visual and brand consistency across all products and platforms.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating real ownership.
• Figma proficiency is required for producing polished, component-consistent, and developer-handoff-ready designs.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping (e.g., Claude, Figma Make, Replit).
• Strong grounding in UX design and design thinking principles.
• Ability to independently interpret ambiguous feedback and translate it into structured UX improvements.
• Comfort working with JIRA in Agile environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or mortgage technology products.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams in sprint-based delivery.
• Exposure to design systems creation or governance.
