Enterprise Communications Lead (Fintech)

Enterprise Communications Lead (PR/Corporate Comms): Designing and managing the internal and external communications strategy for a mid-sized bank with an accent on governance, executive narrative, and channel optimization. Focus on building scalable communication systems, managing PR and social media governance, and coordinating high-level enterprise forums.

Location: Hybrid in Rockville, MD (must work in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the enterprise communications strategy and narrative aligned with business priorities.
• Define and enforce internal communications governance and approval workflows for executive and departmental levels.
• Manage channel strategy for email, intranet, social media, and PR to ensure optimal content routing.
• Lead external communications and PR, including social media governance and executive thought leadership.
• Plan and deliver key enterprise forums such as QBRs and Town Halls in coordination with the CEO and CMO.
• Build and maintain an enterprise communications SOP to standardize approvals and workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or internal communications.
• Experience supporting senior executives within a complex, multi-division organization.
• Proven track record of building internal communications programs and governance models.
• Excellent writing, editing, and message-framing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite.
• Must be based in or able to work in Rockville, MD for a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office).
