Location: Hybrid; Must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York, NY

Salary: $200,000 – $280,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop authentication and product features to ensure the platform is safe and secure by default.
• Build scalable AI-powered systems to detect and mitigate risks, including phishing, spam, and account takeovers.
• Implement AI safety controls and guardrails for hirify.global AI and custom agents.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Security, Legal, and Product teams to integrate privacy and security into scaling efforts.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience building or securing products.
• Strong domain expertise and passion for trust, safety, authentication, security, or privacy.
• Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problems in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
• Must be based in San Francisco or New York to work from the office on Anchor Days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday).

Nice to have

• Experience using LLMs or classical ML to solve trust or security problems at scale.
• Experience building AI-enabled applications in production.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, Postgres, Dynamo, or Memcached.
