What you will do

• Translate complex business problems into scalable Frappe/ERPNext solutions, prioritizing existing features to minimize customization debt.
• Govern architectural decisions across the 20-person engineering team and advocate for process changes over software customizations.
• Manage technical expectations during presales to ensure delivered solutions align with client promises.
• Audit and optimize internal business operations by migrating legacy processes from sheets and email into ERPNext.
• Collaborate with the Frappe community and maintainers to land patches as upstream PRs or core hooks.
• Productize project outcomes by creating public Frappe apps, documented hook proposals, or technical articles.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience with Frappe/ERPNext, including at least 3 years of serious product or platform work.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep knowledge of Frappe internals, including hooks, controllers, and the permission system.
• Proven track record of significant public GitHub contributions and active participation in the Frappe forum.
• Practical experience releasing reusable assets for clients or internal projects.

Nice to have

• Experience building SaaS products powered by Frappe or ERPNext.
• Expertise in large-scale data migration from platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Salesforce.
• Exposure to UX design and leading design sprints for Frappe applications.
• Experience handling massive datasets (1TB+) and tens of millions of records within a single ERPNext setup.
