TL;DR

ASIC Design Manager (SoC): Lead the ASIC Design team in developing next-generation ARTPEC SoCs for surveillance technology with an accent on low power, high performance, security, real-time image processing, and computer vision. Focus on managing complex ASIC/FPGA projects from concept to silicon, strategic planning, resource allocation, and process improvements.

Location: On-Site in Lund, Sweden

What you will do

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of ASIC and FPGA engineers, fostering excellence, learning, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and Technology department to drive next-generation ARTPEC development and align with product roadmap.
  • Handle planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and operations for multiple ASIC development cycles.
  • Participate in management teams for strategic decision-making and hardware innovation direction.
  • Lead organizational, methodology, and process advancements in design tools and efficiency.
  • Represent ASIC team in cross-functional project steering groups for seamless integration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading ASIC development teams, ideally on complex SoC or high-performance digital designs, from concept to silicon.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and visualize strategic direction.
  • Experience with 3rd party IP providers and external ASIC partners (highly meriting).
  • Passion for ASIC development and empowering high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in FPGA design and competence center activities.
