What you will do

• Lead line management for a team of around ten engineers, including people leadership, competence development, resource planning, and work environment.
• Develop and deliver new functions and capabilities for Giraffe xA products on time, at the right quality and cost.
• Oversee hardware components like computers, displays, network equipment, and indicators.
• Manage procured components and the Contract for Development process with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Hardware Design management, System Engineering, Project Management, and other units.
• Coach the team to achieve strategic goals and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience as a line manager with people leadership and resource responsibility.
• Leadership experience from hardware- or electronics-related development.
• Genuine interest in complex technical product development and cross-site collaboration.
• Drive, collaboration skills, and ability to motivate employees.
• Transparent, structured, and results-oriented way of working.
• Relevant academic degree in engineering or related field.
• Pass security vetting based on current regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply for security clearance.
