What you will do

• Build innovative products as part of a client-facing team.
• Design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services for SaaS platforms.
• Work within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement modern deployment practices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply testing strategies (TDD) and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with Go as the primary language.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in Docker, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Solid background in TDD and performance optimization.
• Must be based in the UK or Portugal.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools to augment engineering workflow and increase impact.
