What you will do

• Partner with senior scientists to identify customer pain points and translate them into measurable goals.
• Prototype and iterate on anomaly detection and agent-based root cause analysis using scientific approaches.
• Deploy scalable ML and science-based models utilizing AWS infrastructure.
• Identify and automate high-value repeated work using Gen AI tools and multi-agent systems.
• Design and execute experiments to ensure system stability pre- and post-intervention.
• Collaborate with economists and other Data Scientists to develop strategies for attracting top-tier talent.

Requirements

• Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in data scripting languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2.
• Proven track record of applying theoretical models to solve real-world business problems.
• Experience working as a Data Scientist in an applied environment.

Nice to have

• Experience defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex scientific concepts.
