What you will do

• Process AP transactions for suppliers and employees across multiple cost centers.
• Manage vendor data and submit add or change requests for vendor records.
• Verify account coding, backup documentation, and valid signatures for all invoices.
• Assess and self-assess GST, PST, and HST taxes on invoices where necessary.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding invoice or credit issues.
• Assist in gathering information for month-end reporting and prepare adjusting entries.

Requirements

• High School graduation and a two-year post-secondary diploma in accounting.
• At least 3 years of related experience in accounting and procurement.
• Ability to work onsite at the Vancouver or Okanagan campuses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and high-volume data entry.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with PeopleSoft - FMS.
• Working knowledge of Canadian tax laws.
