What you will do

• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of hirify.global Gold's core backend systems.
• Deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable services following engineering best practices.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical design documents to ensure team alignment.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, reliability, and system modernization.
• Write unit and automation tests to ensure high code quality.
• Conduct code reviews and drive root-cause analysis for critical production issues.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Chengdu
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of backend development experience, preferably in FinTech, E-Commerce, or high-traffic systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamental computer science principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with public cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or Selenium for automated testing.
