Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing for production materials and develop a sourcing roadmap aligned with R&D and scaling plans.
• Implement and automate procurement systems and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the procurement function.
• Manage high-impact vendor relationships, negotiate contractual terms, and optimize costs, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, and Engineering to forecast purchasing and manage cash flow.
• Establish FAR/DFARS-compliant procurement processes and maintain documentation for government audit requirements.
• Drive supplier quality management in alignment with AS9100 requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, with 3+ years in a senior or manager capacity.
• Professional background in aerospace, defense, or other hardware-intensive industries.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and improving procure-to-pay workflows and demand forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be located near or willing to relocate to Denver, CO.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling procurement functions at early-stage aerospace/defense hardware companies.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, FAR/DFARS compliance, and CPSR preparation.
• Experience with ITAR/EAR export control considerations.
• CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification.
