Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Must have US work authorization.

What you will do

• Evolve visual primitives (color, typography, iconography, motion, grid, shape) and translate them into usable assets and specs.
• Build, evolve, and execute icons within the Builder Icon Library.
• Provide clear, actionable visual guidance and examples through documentation and the design language.
• Partner with product designers and engineers to integrate the visual system into features from exploration to launch.
• Lead visual QA for owned areas to ensure consistency, accessibility, and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with Brand Design and Foundation partners to maintain coherent product expression.

Requirements

• 3+ years in visual or product design with a portfolio of systemized visual work at product scale.
• Proven experience building, managing, and executing iconography systems.
• Strong craft in grid, typography, color, iconography, and motion.
• Proficiency in Figma and relevant visual tools.
• Strong communication, documentation habits, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
