Enterprise Architect (Network Infrastructure AI)

TL;DR

Enterprise Architect for Network Infrastructure (Industrial AI Cloud): Design, build, automate network platform for high-performance AI cloud including switches, firewalls, routers, Border Gateways with an accent on InfiniBand, RoCE, UFM, FortiGate, Cisco gateways. Focus on provisioning, lifecycle management, monitoring, automation scripts, 24/7 operations, and cross-team coordination following ITIL processes.

Location: Kosice, Slovakia. Remote working possibility only available within Slovakia due to European taxation regulation. EU-based support required (24/7/365) for sovereignty reasons. Project deployed in Munich datacenter.

Salary: Base from 3100 € brutto (negotiable depending on experience) + variable part and financial benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate network lifecycle activities (installs, upgrades, changes, firmware) with Data Center, IaaS/PaaS teams.
• Provision, maintain InfiniBand switches, firewalls, manage high-speed fabric (InfiniBand/Ethernet RoCE), OOB management network.
• Develop/maintain automation scripts (Go, Python, Bash), use Ansible, Terraform, Helm for orchestration and configuration.
• Implement monitoring/observability (Grafana, Prometheus), incident detection, root-cause analysis, follow ITIL processes (incident, problem, change).
• Design PE/CE datacenter connectivity, routers, firewalls; provide consulting, mentor teams, implement innovative technologies.
• Ensure 24/7 operations with on-calls, hardware handling, documentation, ZERO Outage guidelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
• Hands-on experience with InfiniBand, RoCE, NVIDIA/Mellanox switches, UFM management, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco/Juniper routers (BGP/OSPF).
• Deep Linux networking (Cumulus OS, bridges, bonds, VLANs), tools (iperf, ethtool, nvidia-smi, perfquery).
• 5+ years in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS design/delivery; 3+ years CI/CD, serverless; Kubernetes/VMware; automation (Ansible, Terraform, Git CI/CD).
• ITIL processes, NOC/SOC procedures, on-call experience; scripting (Python, Go, Bash); SDN principles.
• Advanced English (C1); German advantage. Analytical, teamwork, communication skills.
