What you will do

  • Act as editor-in-chief and player-coach, personally authoring cornerstone pieces while guiding a global team of content writers.
  • Produce high-impact content, including executive ghostwriting, research reports, and strategic B2B campaigns.
  • Translate complex AI, data, and performance marketing concepts into clear stories that align with brand voice and journalistic standards.
  • Develop and maintain the editorial roadmap and content calendar aligned with buyer journeys, funnel stages, and GTM priorities.
  • Collaborate with demand generation, product marketing, and web teams to map content to ICP needs and funnel stages.
  • Analyze asset performance and utilize LLM, AIO, and SEO insights to refine topic selection and improve discoverability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in content marketing or editorial roles, with at least 3+ years in senior leadership.
  • Proven experience leading content teams within a B2B or demand generation-focused environment.
  • Exceptional English writing ability (C1+), with a background in journalism or communications.
  • Hands-on expertise in thought leadership, executive ghostwriting, and research-driven storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of buyer journeys, demand gen funnels, and persona-driven content strategy.
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and project management tools like Asana or Monday.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing for North American business audiences.
  • Experience managing external writers, agencies, or SEO contractors.
