What you will do

• Perform end‑to‑end system simulations for high‑speed optical interconnects, including Serdes, electrical/optical channels, and transceivers.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance system‑level simulation environments.
• Conduct laboratory measurements and correlate results with simulations for system validation and performance evaluation.
• Analyze and resolve signal integrity issues, such as crosstalk, attenuation, reflections, and discontinuities.
• Perform engineering and design validation tests (EVT/DVT).

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering/CS with 3+ years experience, Master's with 5+ years, or Bachelor's with 5-10 years in design validation for fiber-optical systems.
• Deep knowledge of optical communication components (DSP, coherent DSP, modulators, receivers, TIA, RF amplifiers).
• Strong understanding of RF/microwave engineering and photonics fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Keysight ADS (IBIS-AMI) or MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience with optical spectrum analyzers, digital communication analyzers, and high‑speed electric scopes.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. law (EAR).
