What you will do

• Lead area team members and ensure adherence to standard work.
• Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work processes.
• Ensure team cycle times are at or below takt time, providing hands-on help on the line when necessary.
• Train new employees, transfers, and perform cross-training.
• Perform root cause problem solving to resolve issues preventing daily production goals.
• Identify and eliminate waste using continuous improvement and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum High school diploma or GED.
• Clear understanding of standard work, takt time, bar charts, and spaghetti diagrams.
• Proven understanding of 5 Key measures (policy deployment).
• Understanding of Lean, 6S, and TWI (Training Within Industry).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to utilize the company's Standardized Problem Solving Process.
