TL;DR

Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React): Designing, developing, and deploying scalable front-end solutions for various digital products with an accent on high-performance user experiences and accessibility. Focus on building reusable components with Next.js, implementing design systems, and ensuring strict WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable front-end components using React and Next.js.
  • Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces following modern front-end best practices.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into accessible and high-quality code.
  • Implement and maintain CSS-in-JS solutions and document UI components using Storybook.
  • Ensure all applications meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a React Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and Next.js.
  • Hands-on experience with CSS-in-JS and Storybook for component development.
  • Practical experience implementing WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
  • English level: Advanced / Fluent (spoken and written).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in AI tools to optimize day-to-day workflows, research, and analysis.
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks and performance optimization.
  • Exposure to REST/GraphQL APIs or backend technologies.
  • Experience working in product-driven or multi-product environments.
