Frontend Engineer (Meet) (React/Rust): Developing and maintaining user-facing features for encrypted video calls platform with an accent on intuitive interactions, responsiveness, and high-quality UI across devices. Focus on building performant reusable components, advocating clean frontend architecture, and balancing performance, accessibility, rapid feature delivery.

Location: Onsite in Taipei or Geneva; offices in Zürich, Barcelona, London. In-person collaboration expected most of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain user-facing features ensuring seamless interactions and high-quality UI across devices.
• Collaborate with backend, design, and other teams to deliver reliable, user-centric features.
• Advocate for clean, maintainable code and strong frontend architecture.
• Balance performance, accessibility, and rapid feature delivery for optimal user experience.
• Work in small empowered teams shaping hirify.global Meet, a free encrypted video calls platform launched in 2026.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with React, developing performant and reusable components.
• Proficiency with TypeScript or any typed language.
• Experience leading large and complex projects as a frontend engineer.

Nice to have

• Experience using agentic AI.
• Experience in audio/video apps, WebRTC, and Messaging Layer Security.
