What you will do

• Lead project planning and development by owning SI/PI for products and sub-systems.
• Establish SI/PI guidelines and stack-up specifications through feasibility studies.
• Audit layout routing and component placement for all interfaces to maximize performance.
• Perform SIPI simulation for PCBs, connectors, and cabling to sign-off designs.
• Measure and correlate results with simulation models to enhance accuracy.
• Research and integrate advanced SI/PI technologies to improve simulation efficiency.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to perform system-level SIPI design and optimization using HFSS, SIwave, PowerSI, ADS, or HSPICE.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNA, and TDR.
• Demonstrated experience with simulation-to-measurement correlation.
• Hands-on capability to debug and resolve SI/PI-related issues in lab environments.
• Location: Must be based in or work onsite in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• M.S.E.E. with 3 years experience, or a Ph.D. specialization in SIPI.
• Knowledge of SERDES, SoC Power Integrity (PI) with VR modeling, or LPDDRx interfaces.
• Experience with automotive-grade interfaces like xGBase-T1, CAN/CAN-FD, LVDS, and GMSL.
• Workflow automation skills using Python or Tcl.
• Experience with DoE simulation for high-volume production designs.
