What you will do

• Build and deploy AI agents, plug-ins, and integrations as business use cases emerge.
• Design custom agent harnesses, including MCP servers, orchestration logic, and eval scaffolding.
• Extend vendor AI platforms such as Salesforce Einstein, Tableau Pulse-AI, and ETQ-AI.
• Conduct discovery sessions with internal partners to surface and prioritize high-value AI use cases.
• Implement AI governance and security, focusing on prompt injection mitigation and data leakage prevention.
• Lead and mentor a small team of AI engineers (if pursuing the people-leader track).

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building production AI or agentic systems.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including async patterns and type hints.
• Hands-on experience with modern agent tooling such as Claude Code, MCP, LangGraph, Mastra, or Pydantic AI.
• Working knowledge of LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and production-level prompt engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience managing and coaching a team of 2-5 engineers.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, or Infor Syteline.
• Experience extending vendor AI platforms within the data and analytics ecosystem.
