What you will do
- Lead architecture design and governance by defining software standards and patterns for scalable, secure systems.
- Partner with global engineering teams to align technical strategy with business objectives.
- Introduce emerging technologies and foster communities of practice through training and mentorship.
- Ensure system health, performance, and cost-efficiency through proactive architectural oversight.
- Collaborate with DevOps to troubleshoot complex issues and support third-party integrations.
- Help build inclusive, high-performing teams and communicate technical impact to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Solid background in software engineering and architecture for large-scale platforms and global teams.
- Strong grasp of microservices and event-driven patterns, including system modelling (UML, C4).
- Proficiency in C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (or Azure/GCP) focusing on scalability and resilience.
- Experience with DevOps tools: GitHub, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated monitoring.
- Knowledge of data modelling, APIs, messaging systems (Kafka), and ETL pipelines.
Nice to have
- Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
- Knowledge of secure design, identity management, and GDPR standards.
