Zero Trust Lead (Cybersecurity): Implementing, maturing, and governing the agency’s Zero Trust architecture across identity, network, device, application, and data pillars with an accent on policy enforcement and cross-domain integration. Location: Washington, DC. Flexible work arrangements are available.

What you will do
- Serve as the primary authority for implementing and governing Zero Trust architecture across identity, network, device, application, and data pillars.
- Ensure all operational practices align with Zero Trust principles and oversee policy enforcement.
- Validate identity and access workflows and guide integration with cloud, network, and cybersecurity operations.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise, guidance, and contribution to the future-state roadmap.
- Coordinate activities across various task areas and ensure high documentation quality.
Requirements
- High-Risk Public Trust (T4) Clearance is required.
- 5–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, IAM, or enterprise security engineering.
- Direct experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and hands-on work with identity-aware access controls, MFA, and conditional access.
- Proficiency with Azure AD/Entra ID, Okta federation, and identity governance.
- Experience enforcing identity-driven policies via Palo Alto firewalls, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, and Aruba/ClearPass.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Zscaler ZCCA-IA (Internet Access) or ZCCA-PA (Private Access) Certification.
- Palo Alto PCNSE Certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration (incident, change, CMDB alignment).
