What you will do

• Build MVPs, PoCs, and production-ready implementations of novel security capabilities.
• Design and architect scalable solutions to bridge the gap between prototypes and product systems.
• Collaborate with researchers and product teams to align innovations with customer needs and technical constraints.
• Independently translate strategic goals into concrete technical execution plans.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate based on feedback and evolving requirements.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from initial conception through delivery and handoff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering or security research experience.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.
• Deep expertise in a security domain (e.g., AppSec, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Threat Intelligence).
• Strong programming skills in multiple languages and ability to learn new tech stacks quickly.
• Proven track record of working autonomously on ambiguous, dynamic projects.
• Experience designing systems that balance innovation with reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global products (Nessus, hirify.global One, Security Center) or NASL.
• Background in security research or novel capability development.
• Experience with AI/ML systems or emerging security technologies.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies.
• Published security research or open-source contributions.
