Senior Mechanical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Provide mechanical engineering support for proposals and projects on HZI products like Anaerobic Digestion, Power to Gas, Waste Fuel Boilers, and Flue Gas Treatment.
• Perform equipment sizing calculations and prepare documentation including specifications, datasheets, equipment lists, and P&IDs.
• Execute mechanical scope on FEED, EP, EPC, BOO projects ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Participate in plot plan, 3D model, P&ID, and safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP/SIL).
• Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Identify cost and schedule improvements and maintain mechanical knowledge base for North American market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related; EIT/PE or advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years in mechanical engineering for complex industrial systems, including proposals and project execution
• Expertise in equipment sizing, mechanical documentation (specifications, datasheets, P&IDs) for RFQ/procurement
• Experience in process optimization, performance improvement, cost reduction
• Experience in Renewable Energy, Gas Processing, Chemical, Power, Waste Management, or Environmental Control
• On-site construction, installation, start-up, commissioning preferred
