Salary: $160,000 — $220,000 CAD

What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, deliver, and support cloud-native security products from concept to production.
• Build cross-group partnerships with engineering, product, design, support, and documentation teams.
• Uphold high programming standards via code reviews, unit tests, and functional tests.
• Lead remote teams while ensuring product quality, agility, and velocity.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers as a player-coach.

Requirements

• 7+ years building Java-based web applications
• Deep knowledge of design patterns, scalability patterns, security engineering, and OOP principles
• Experience in fast-paced teams with CI/CD practices
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proven security background and best practices advocacy

Nice to have

• Experience building anomaly detection or risk systems
• Expertise in cloud security, identity, authentication protocols
• Hands-on with UI technologies like Angular, React, Backbone, Vue
