Salary: $60,000 – $75,000

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and feasible solution concepts.
• Design and build lightweight prototypes and proof-of-concepts for AI and automation initiatives.
• Develop full-stack application components and API-based data integration pipelines.
• Partner with senior engineers and SMEs to assess production readiness, scalability, and security.
• Drive automation, CI/CD robustness, and structural technical debt reduction.
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and enhance code quality.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in software development, data integration, or AI-enabled applications.
• Strong foundational programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with full-stack development, APIs, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Must be currently residing in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with frameworks such as React, Next.js, Node.js, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Practical exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or multimodal AI use cases.
• Participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, or technical competitions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
