What you will do

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, R&D, and other teams on new product introductions and product transfers.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers on processes, equipment utilization, and statistical process control.
• Develop validation strategies, design layouts for plastics processing, assembly, and equipment implementation.
• Optimize machine arrangements for efficient plant layouts and adapt designs to production conditions.
• Lead process improvements using DFMA, Kaizen, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Manage manufacturing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring compliance and quality.

Requirements

• Level 8 degree in Engineering with minimum 4 years relevant experience (or Master’s with 2 years, or PhD).
• Manufacturing engineering experience in medical devices, with track record in process development and improvement.
• Knowledge of polymer processing, injection moulding, quality control, and production techniques.
• Project management skills for manufacturing processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to prepare procedures, proposals, and reports.
• Knowledge of risk management (PFMEA) and manufacturing test strategies.

Nice to have

• Experience in SolidWorks/AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project.
• Project Management qualification.
• Six Sigma/Lean certification.
• Experience with engineering changes in Agile.
