TL;DR

Knowledge Specialist (EdTech): Creating multi-lingual customer content and video tutorials with an accent on localization and quality assurance of product translations. Focus on producing help documentation, managing publishing queues, and ensuring high-quality multi-lingual product screenshots.

Location: Must be based in or able to work in-person from the Kitchener, Ontario office

Salary: $788 — $996 CAD per week

What you will do

  • Develop how-to video tutorials for customers in multiple languages.
  • Partner with the Localization Team to ensure the quality of product translations.
  • Produce and distribute multi-lingual content for help documentation and release notes.
  • Oversee and manage publishing queues to review and publish content created by colleagues.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and will not graduate prior to the co-op role.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week in-person from a hirify.global office.
  • Fluency in at least one language other than English (preferably Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic).
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
  • Proactive and independent work ethic with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

  • Experience with GitHub for version control.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare as a content management system.
  • Experience in technical writing for software and process documentation.
  • Experience using Canva for creating video tutorials.
