Clinical Engineer

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 + 5% annual bonus (US based)

What you will do

• Design, set up, and maintain perfusion models simulating human organ preservation, starting with liver and expanding to other organs.
• Conduct experiments to optimize transplant preservation devices, monitor physiological parameters, and perform equipment calibration.
• Collect and analyze biological samples and data, providing insights for product improvements.
• Support pre-clinical studies, protocol execution, data collection, and site coordination.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, clinical, and marketing teams to integrate clinical needs into device design.
• Contribute to research evidence, regulatory documentation, abstracts, and manuscripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or related; PhD a plus.
• 3-5 years in clinical engineering focused on perfusion models, transplant preservation, or medical devices.
• Hands-on experience with experimental setup, validation, and optimization of medical devices in clinical/lab environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
