What you will do

• Develop and deliver backend features for the ad server platform to support the business roadmap.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to define requirements and implementation approaches.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous code reviews and mentoring of team members.
• Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and system reliability issues.
• Manage production stability using monitoring tools and lead incident resolution efforts.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Java or a similar backend language.
• Strong command of clean code principles and contract-first design.
• Ability to write well-tested code and implement production monitoring.
• Experience leading technical discussions and influencing architectural decisions.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from London (Holborn)

Nice to have

• Proficiency in modern Spring, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS (EKS).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and the latest Java features.
• Experience in incident management and mentoring junior developers.
