Salary: £70,929 - £106,394 per annum.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Quality Engineers.
• Integrate with internal systems and third-party APIs for seamless user experiences.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering strategy, mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with Java, designing and implementing RESTful APIs for scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure also welcome).
• Experience with automated testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Pact, Junit, Mokito, PowerMock) and commitment to well-tested code.
