What you will do

• Support the delivery of advocacy strategies to advance key humanitarian and development objectives.
• Analyze and report on UK political and policy trends to identify strategic lobbying opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with political champions and decision-makers in Westminster and Whitehall.
• Develop written and oral briefings, parliamentary questions, and debate contributions for MPs and Peers.
• Collaborate with communications teams to create public advocacy materials and digital content.
• Contribute to a culture of gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in both internal culture and policy solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working on development and humanitarian issues.
• Proven track record of delivering advocacy strategies that impact legislative and executive policy in the UK.
• Deep understanding of UK political structures, processes, and institutional leverage points.
• Strong writing skills to translate complex data into coherent narratives for policymakers.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
