What you will do

• Lead the implementation of a coherent and contextually relevant policy and influencing agenda.
• Define and represent hirify.global Syria’s positions on key national and regional issues.
• Integrate advocacy, policy work, media, and communications into a unified strategic framework.
• Manage risks associated with the execution of the influencing strategy and action plans.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making forums concerning campaign management within Syria and the MENA region.
• Represent hirify.global in multiple platforms and fora at national, regional, and international levels.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven work experience in advocacy, policy, networking, and alliance building in a humanitarian crisis context.
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in social sciences.
• Proven ability in developing, implementing, and monitoring program-based campaign and advocacy strategies.
• Excellent representational and lobbying skills with experience of advocacy with senior decision-makers.
• Proven leadership skills including the ability to challenge, motivate, and develop direct reports.

Nice to have

• Advocacy, policy, and communications/media experience in Syria or a similar humanitarian context.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Syrian and broader regional context.
• Ability to travel internationally on short notice.
