Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Implement, operate, and maintain security controls across corporate IT environments including identity management, endpoint security, network security, SaaS platforms, and cloud services with an accent on day-to-day operations, investigations, and incident response. Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 base + equity

What you will do

• Implement and maintain security controls for identity, endpoints, networks, SaaS, and cloud services
• Configure identity systems including access controls, policies, and authentication
• Deploy endpoint security tools like MDM and EDR across macOS, Windows, and Linux
• Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and perform containment and remediation
• Support vulnerability scanning, prioritization, and remediation with IT and engineering teams
• Contribute to security architecture, automation, compliance, audits, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years in security operations or engineering, preferably in startups
• 2+ years development in Python, C++, Rust, Go or equivalent; OR bachelor’s in CS, engineering, or STEM
• Knowledge of OS, networking, security best practices, and monitoring tools
• Experience with mission-critical systems and incident response
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, problem-solving
• U.S. Person per ITAR for export-controlled access
