What you will do

• Monitor security alerts, logs, and events from SIEM, endpoint, network, and cloud systems.
• Lead security incident response, including containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain and operate security tooling, such as endpoint protection, IDS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Support firewall, VPN, and network access controls.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security recommendations and corrective actions.
• Conduct threat hunting, anomaly detection, and security awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or engineering, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
• 2+ years of development experience in Python, C++, Rust, or Go, or a STEM degree.
• Deep knowledge of operating systems, networking, and security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, etc.).
