Salary: 155,000 - 260,000 USD Annual

What you will do
- Own L3 data architecture governance processes, defining standards and aligning with cloud modernization.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, risk, and audit to embed controls into data platforms.
- Lead issue/risk management, root-cause analysis, and remediation of control gaps and audit findings.
- Coordinate audits, regulatory requests like SOX, and produce executive/regulator-ready governance content.
- Chair architecture design reviews for data initiatives, approving reference patterns for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
- Drive automation of compliance via CI/CD, policy-as-code, and DevOps integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related + 10+ years IT experience (or HS/GED + 15+ years).
- 8+ years in governance or senior data architecture in regulated environments, preferably financial services.
- Proven experience owning data platform governance, controls, and compliance implementation.
- Strong collaboration with architects, engineers, risk, and audit teams.
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance for tech platforms.
- Knowledge of data architecture best practices, cloud modernization; ability to travel as required.

- Strategic risk management mindset and influential leadership in matrixed organizations.
- Familiarity with risk/issue tracking tools.
- Strong technical writing for executives and regulators.
