What you will do

• Lead architecture and design reviews, including Kafka-based integrated solutions using Confluent Cloud/Confluent Platform.
• Drive platform onboarding and integration into hirify.global’s Integrated Platform using Kafka brokers, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, ksqlDB, and REST Proxy.
• Own deployment and automation across on-prem and cloud environments, including Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and Jenkins/CI/CD tooling.
• Collaborate on quality engineering by implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability (Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus) and ensuring automated smoke/regression testing.
• Provide technical leadership across Product, Engineering, Quality, and Infrastructure to remove impediments and coordinate complex integration work.
• Estimate project scope/schedules and provide strategic guidance on application solutions, data models, testing, troubleshooting, and governance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of enterprise technology experience with extensive development experience in .NET and AWS Cloud.
• Strong architecture and system design background, including full application development lifecycle and Agile development.
• Experience with Kafka and REST APIs, plus modern technologies such as Angular, React, Java, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs.
• 5+ years creating logical/physical data models and defining database schemas (SQL, NoSQL, Graph/Neo4j).
• Functional skills in DevOps/deployment automation and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, JFrog).
• 10+ years relevant IT experience in financial, investment, and/or fintech institutions, with IT project leadership experience.
