TL;DR

Recruitment Manager (Social Care): Lead and manage recruitment across the organisation, shaping strategy and hands-on execution with an accent on attracting and onboarding values-aligned talent. Focus on developing recruitment plans, employer branding, coordinating interviews and events, and ensuring compliance with pre-employment checks.

Location: Onsite at 11 Meadway Court, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 2EF, UK

Salary: £40,000 / year

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain recruitment plans in partnership with operational managers
  • Promote the organisation as an employer of choice and identify effective recruitment channels
  • Act as first point of contact for applicants, screen applications, and conduct pre-interview checks
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews, manage offers, rejections, and candidate feedback
  • Handle pre-employment checks, onboarding, inductions, and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Review and improve recruitment processes, attend events, and manage Certificates of Sponsorship

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience delivering professional recruitment in a competitive market, preferably social care
  • Experience coordinating recruitment events and working with administrative/recruitment systems
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages, excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to organisational values and understanding of social care legal/regulatory framework

  • Experience collaborating with social care organisations on best practices
