What you will do

• Lead automation projects and the integration of systems and software tools within clinical and research labs.
• Develop scripts for liquid handling robots and other laboratory automation instruments.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and end-users to conceptualize and implement optimized laboratory processes.
• Define automation systems development, testing, and qualification requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for equipment validation and standard operating procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and analyze data to drive critical process decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in engineering/biochemistry (5+ years experience) or an Advanced degree (3+ years experience) in an NGS lab.
• Technical proficiency in life science automation, specifically with robotics and liquid handling systems.
• Hamilton Venus 4 or 6 programming experience is required.
• Experience deploying automation methods using GitHub or GitLab.
• Expertise in drafting user requirements, SOPs, and overseeing IQ/OQ/PQ validation testing.
• Strong project management, communication, and mentoring skills.
