Base salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + equity

What you will do

• Lead RF mechanical hardware from concept through qualification and operations to support customer needs.
• Drive design reviews, hardware development, testing, analysis correlation, and iterations.
• Perform hardware trades for RF subsystems and top-level direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional RF team on requirements, processes, and best practices.
• Own system deliverables and schedules throughout development and production.
• Define mechanical requirements, concepts, analysis, tests, and produce flight hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or relevant engineering
• 2+ years in mechanical/electromechanical design and analysis
• Experience with CAD or FEA software
• Experience with GD&T application
• Proficiency in mechanical design, materials, thermodynamics, thermal solutions
• Ability to design, build, test hardware independently, including troubleshooting
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual) per ITAR

Nice to have

• Experience designing/building/testing RF systems, antennas, deployment mechanisms for aerospace
• Knowledge of NASA-STD-5017, SMC-S-016, GSFC-STD-7000 standards
• Understanding of structural analysis and failure modes in space
• Active Top Secret or Secret clearance with SAP eligibility
