Supplier Quality Engineering Manager (Medtech)

Salary: $142,400 - $213,600

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and elevate a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, driving accountability and performance.
• Oversee supplier quality performance to ensure delivery of components and services in compliance with purchasing controls.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and corrective/preventive actions, including Supplier CAPAs and complaint investigations.
• Collaborate with Operations Quality, Engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain monitoring systems to track supplier and team performance, nonconformances, and change management.
• Support internal audits, notified body audits, and FDA inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a technical field with 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, or a regulated industry (or Advanced Degree with 3+ years).
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available for this level).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite 5 days a week in Grand Rapids, MI.

Nice to have

• Proven people management experience, specifically leading teams through change.
• MBA or Master’s degree in a technical field.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQA, and/or CSQP.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with remediation efforts or quality turnaround initiatives.
