What you will do

• Lead mechanical design for wet processing equipment, subassemblies, and components in product development projects.
• Perform analytical studies including vacuum vessels, heat transfer, structural analysis, fluids, and motion mechanisms.
• Define specifications, ensure compliance with design practices and safety codes, and develop test plans for prototypes.
• Prepare presentations, participate in design reviews, support procurement, manufacturing, and program management.
• Create engineering documentation via ECO process and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering + 8 years or MS + 6 years experience in capital equipment design/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar 3D CAD, and FEA (structural/thermal).
• Experience with SAP or similar PLM system.
• Ability to work in fast-paced multi-disciplinary teams, hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication for presentations and interfacing with management, suppliers, customers.
• Location: Based in Horsham, PA; up to 10% travel to customer sites/vendors.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of electrical/software engineering, industrial control systems, robotics, SEMI standards.
