Privacy Manager (Data Governance): Providing enterprise-wide leadership for hirify.global’s privacy, data governance, and data management framework with an accent on designing, operationalising, and enhancing scalable privacy programs supporting global growth and regulatory obligations. Focus on embedding privacy in operations, advising on complex privacy risks, managing data subject rights, and overseeing vendor privacy assessments.

Location: Hybrid office environment with assigned workspace in Swindon or London (Victoria), UK

What you will do

  • Design and implement enterprise privacy standards, policies, and data retention strategies aligned with global regulations.
  • Provide strategic privacy advice on products, services, cross-border transfers, and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee data subject rights management, privacy impact assessments, and vendor risk frameworks.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, lead training programs, and support incident response and regulatory engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, technology, and business lines.

Requirements

  • Located in Swindon or London, UK for hybrid work
  • Data privacy professional or UK-qualified lawyer with 10+ years PQE in privacy/data protection/governance.
  • Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and global privacy regimes.
  • IAPP certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM or equivalent).
  • Experience with privacy management platforms (OneTrust, TrustArc).
  • Strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
