What you will do
- Manage overall sales performance for assigned customers in Japan, including planning, lead follow-up, and prospecting.
- Propose technical product solutions aligned with customer requirements and drive specification reviews.
- Act as the Voice of the Customer, translating needs into product enhancements and support requests for Business Units.
- Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly rolling sales forecasts using Salesforce.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and professional seminars.
- Collaborate with Global Service and Business Units to maximize customer satisfaction and services revenue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 10 years of sales experience specifically within the capital equipment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Must be based in Japan and available for required domestic and international travel.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and managing channel partners.
- Experience working within a US-based multinational corporation is preferred.
