Focused software company (~120 people across Germany and the US) with a global client base in energy and chemicals, building a dedicated SDM consulting practice using AI, BTP, and Clean Core.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and design workshops with client process owners, translating bulk logistics requirements into clean SAP solutions preferring standard processes.
• Cover full secondary distribution scope including supply nominations, logistics planning, carrier management, quantity/quality reconciliation, and automated settlement with complex details.
• Quantify business value of solutions in terms of ROI, working capital, write-offs, headcount reduction, and error rates to build investment cases.
• Act as quality anchor for partner-led implementations: review designs, advise on decisions, handle tricky scenarios like ADR edge cases.
• Contribute domain knowledge to AI tooling, accelerators, workshop formats, and pilot AI-supported delivery in projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years SAP consulting in bulk logistics (SDM ideal; SD/MM/TM in oil, gas, or chemicals acceptable) with understanding of freight/inventory postings, logistics settlement, bulk product flows.
• Deep knowledge of secondary distribution: supply nominations, scheduling, settlement, left on board, temperature/density corrections, ADR, compartment handling, tolerances.
• Ability to lead workshops to decisions, think end-to-end processes, work with partners guiding/reviewing/challenging.
• Interest in business value of solutions and modern tech: AI, BTP, Clean Core, AI-assisted delivery.

Nice to have

• Oil & Gas or Chemicals industry background.
• Experience building business cases/ROI arguments.
