What you will do

• Evaluate, scope, and build features to fulfill business requirements for protecting customer SAP applications.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers, engineers, and product managers to iterate on product definition.
• Work with the Architecture team to advance platform maturity and technology design.
• Improve quality engineering processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Coordinate with security and IT professionals to implement safe and secure systems architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of SAP ABAP experience, including in-depth knowledge of ABAP-OO and new language constructs.
• Proficiency in BAdI, Enhancements, and dialog programming.
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Scrum.
• Ability to document implementation designs using standard tools like UML.
• Must be based in or commutable to Heidelberg, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP interfacing technologies (RFCs, Rest/OData, Web Services, BAPI's).
• Expertise in Native HANA development and ABAP CDS/DCL objects.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with SAP deployment tools like SAP TMS, Solution Manager ChaRM, or Focused Build.
• Experience with SAP BTP cloud-native application development.
